DSMeet [1] is a community website built from scratch to allow Nintendo DS owners to meet, chat, and share friend codes. The website includes forums, private messaging, with new features being regularly added--all coded exclusively for the website. The website grew from the fact that the Nintendo DS lacked any way to find friends, and that there was no pre-established community based around it. (Nintendo.com's forums don't really count.) The website was built almost entirely by Brandon Suit, though new members are joining the development team.

DSmeet encourages its members to get involved and spread the word about the community so that it can grow larger and be more useful to its userbase.

Plans to start a gaming media division of Geneostar are in place. Currently, some of the DSmeet members are contributing to Suit's next open media project, StrategyWiki.
